Moto G 2015 (3rd gen) starts receiving Android 6.0 Marshmallow update

 Motorola has started pushing out the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for the Moto G (3rd gen).

The update is rolling out over-the-air in the US and Canada, currently only for handsets purchased unlocked and SIM-free. That said, the Marshmallow release is bound to spread to other versions of the 3rd gen Moto G soon.

It does remove a few Motorola apps like Migrate and Assist, which should not really come as a surprise since Motorola had announced this change earlier this year.
